Germany first Burlesque Go-Go's.
The first Burlesque show was established in the twenties, inspired from the erotic shows in the Moulin Rouge and Pigalle. In New York was produced the first Burlesque presentations with the singular combination of Striptease, Comedy and theatre.

The Teaserettes are since April 2005 a group of artists of the new Burlesque scene in Berlin. They have been inspired from the large Burlesque Hype in America and the exciting stripper from the 50's like Bettie PAGE and Tempest Storm.

The Teaserettes show is accompanied by Cabaret and Varieté inserts and consists not only of dancers with uniform dream masses, but also very female women. They carry stage Outfits, their mouths are usually very sharply made up, their skin very white and their curly hair splendour too blond. The dances are less perfectly rehearses than with the usual Striptease, because the Burlesque presentations do not take too seriously. The Teaserettes invents their roles and costumes on the stage as if exaggerated garnished Chamber maids, Cowgirls or Sailor men. The special Show is a large drinking glass of water pours out over the Breast – Fire Show, or classical ballet.

The new Burlesque show is not usual the last coverings fall. Rather the nipples are covered with Pasties, the panties or string panties are on, because the Burlesque shows of the Teaserettes is less contrast to the Striptease but more for a male public. They are less commercial, taking places in atmospheric meeting areas or they are erotic highlights in stage programs, like for example in Comedy shows, at concerts and in Nightclubs.

Compare to the commerce Striptease is nobody responsible for the management of the performances with the Teaserettes, but the meetings, program and Choreography are managed by the Teaserettes themselves.
